Oracle Database Engineer (Opening in Charleston, SC) REQ# GDI_17_010

Requirements: Minimum 12 years' C4I systems experience with and 8 years as an Oracle DBA with a proven system performance optimization and troubleshooting in Linux environments. Must quickly adapt to any environment during the project lifecycle, and efficiently respond to task deadlines and resolve system complications. Must possess excellent organizational and analytical skills with in depth of knowledge of Oracle databases. Will provide database management and life cycle support for Navy enterprise information systems. Will implement and troubleshoot Golden Gate for database replication between Navy systems. Will setup RMAN configuration on Oracle database servers and ensure a standard configuration and build process. Will implement Data Guard configuration between databases. Will create build documentation to support the build out in relation to the databases and the deployment of other vendor tools (BMC Focused). Will build and STIG database deployments. HBSS / ACAS SME (Opening in Charleston, SC) REQ# GDI_17_016

Requirements: Minimum 12 years' total experience with C4I systems, to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in relevant technical field. Will install, configure, and test HBSS software for production and test environments. Will ensure environment and applications are STIG compliant. Will conduct routine maintenance operations on existing hardware and software and apply required patches. Will identify and report all IAVA/B/T & CTOs that affect the system; apply applicable patches to system baselines. Coordinate with IAO for VRAM updates. Create/maintain program security related Enterprise Change Requests for IAVA/B/T, CTOs, TASKORDs, etc. Prepare test reports for IAVM fix/mitigation and implementation. Inform operational sites of fix/patch per documented procedures. Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Configuration Management (CM) for C4I systems. Will establish and implement CM processes and procedures for a new program of record. Will conduct Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) and verify “as-built” hardware and software installations against approved baseline parts list for correctness and release levels. Will work with the engineering group to access, observe, verify, and record the part/serial numbers of the installed units to develop and confirm product baselines in CMPro.
